How We Serve

How We Serve

Congregational Council – consists of eight elected members of the congregation meeting once a month. Council has a general oversight of the life and activities of this congregation, in particular its worship life, and is responsible for maintaining and protecting its property and the management of its business and fiscal affairs.

Modern Lutheran Women – women of the church meeting every month for devotions, lessons, opportunities to serve, and fellowship. Meetings are open to all women who would like to be a part of this ministry.

Vision Team – volunteers meet to discuss St. John’s future ministries and how we can grow in outreach to the communities around us.

Property Committee – consists of volunteers who make sure the property is maintained.

Youth Ministry – volunteers plan events for our youth including Vacation Bible School, Easter Egg Hunt and an annual Halloween Party.

Worship and Music – consists of volunteers who provide variety while maintaining integrity in our worship services.
